Africans still face the stereotype of being seen as very underdeveloped and a primitive people. They are always portrayed as either not knowledgeable or so in touch with their culture that they come off as ancient and seen as misfits in society. This is contrary to what actually happens in Africa...i should know, i'm Ugandan. People in my country wear jeans and latest fashion trends, they don't go around walking naked and riding on elephants which has been the message implied in movies such as Coming to America(starring Eddie Murphy)
